Our parish is a part of the Orthodox Church in America, which traces its origins in the first Orthodox mission in Alaska in the 18th century. The mission grew into the North-American diocese and later Metropolia. In 1971, the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church granted the North-American Metropolia the status of autocephalous – fully independent local church in full Eucharistic communion with all canonical Orthodox churches.

The rector of the parish is the Very Reverend Archpriest Alexei Vassiouchkine.
To contact Father Alexei, you can call 416-562-5512 or email him at priestalexei@gmail.com

For our services we rent a beautiful old Anglican chapel built in 1872, to which we added an Orthodox iconostasis.
Address of services: St. Mary's Anglican Church, 10030 Yonge Street Richmond Hill, ON L4C 1T8

Public transportation: Viva bus from Finch subway station on Yonge Street to the Major Mackenzie stop.

By car: There is a large parking lot at the church; entrance is from Major Mackenzie (50m west of the intersection, north side). You can also park on Yonge Street in areas where there are no prohibiting signs. If the parking lot at the church is full, you may park in the library parking lot (across the street on Major Mackenzie and about 100m west). It is strongly requested that you do not park on McLatchy Lane and in the driveways as this is a fire safety violation.

If you do not have a car and cannot use public transportation, you can contact Fr. Alexei and he will try to find someone to help you. There is no guarantee, but he will do his best.
